About the Festival - encouraging kind minds The Family, Fur & Fun Festival is all about families and their pets. In today's world, family means different things to different people. How do you know if this event is for you? If you care for your pet (with or without fur) then you must come to this event! Admission is free and so are many of the activities! Adoptions: The Nevada SPCA has dogs, cats, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and ferrets available for adoption. The specific animals and types of animals that will be available at the event will be determined on the day of the event. Fun: There are several booths set up for children to experience pets hands-on and to participate in crafts, activities, and educational presentations, and demos. Raffle: We have amazing raffle prizes donated by the local community. Pet Policy To ensure the fun and safety of all:
Special Warning: October weather in Las Vegas is usually warm. Leaving any pet in a vehicle in warm weather can lead to illness or death in a very short time. Authorities remove any pets found unattended in vehicles. NEVER LEAVE PETS IN THE VEHICLE. The Family, Fur & Fun Festival management and staff reserve the right to have you and your pet removed from the Festival at their sole discretion and no refunds will be made.
